This paper is purported to review The Ongoing Revolution in Teaching and Learning, based on the Learner Autonomy Paradigm and made possible by rapid ICT and AI development. The learner Autonomy Paradigm has surfaced with the teachings of Chu Hsi, and some eight centuries later in the West, with the works of Henry Holec and David Little. We have being examining the enrichment and enhancement of this Paradigm by Artificial Intelligence (AI), and its multiplied effects. The original approach to education, pedagogy and didactics came into its fully fledged capacity only owing to AI’s broad, multifaceted and practically inexhaustible capacities. We researched the effect of implementation of the “AI Lecturer System” at the Alfa BK University in Serbia, which started in 2024, after the signing of the University Agreement on Cooperation with Raffles University, Malaysia. We examined positive effects of the “AI Lecturer System” on lesson Preparation, interactive teaching through teacher avatars, personalized homework generation and evaluation, as well as student satisfaction. We aim to report on our finding so far, and to outline the paths of our future research, hoping to shed more conclusive light on the effects, efficacy and efficiency of the “AI Lecturer System”. We intend to broaden the scope of our research to the area of Management Studies, since we have so far covered only programs offered by the Faculty of Modern Languages, including some Summer School Courses in the field of Culture Studies.
